I was born and raised in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. After graduating from California University of Pa in 2004, I began teaching 5th grade at Owens Road Elementary in Oxon Hill, Md. I have been teaching now for 6 years, and I have enjoyed all of the experiences. I got married in May 2008 and my husband and I moved here to NC in late June. I am enjoying the weather, and wearing flip flops almost everyday. It has been a great change of pace!
